Contract construction

Torize builds cities on Czerka worlds under contract. Czerka supplies the minerals and the ships; Torize supplies the crews; the finished cities belong to Czerka, and Torize is paid for each one completed.

It is the oldest arrangement the company has, and the one it is best at. Torize built FI cities on Czerka ground under contract for years before the asteroid programme existed, and a good share of what the company owns today was paid for out of that work.

HOW IT RUNS

Czerka provides	Raw minerals and transport. Nothing comes out of a Torize stockpile and nothing comes out of a worker's pocket.
Torize provides	The crews, the build order and the site management. Work is posted job by job and claimed by whoever wants it.
Czerka keeps	The cities and the income they produce. They are Czerka's from the moment the foundation goes down.
The builder is paid	At the rate posted with each job, on completion, to the person who did the work.

WHY THE WORK IS SHARED OUT

The planet is Czerka's, the minerals are Czerka's, the cities are Czerka's. Nothing about that work needs to stay inside the roster, so the jobs can be posted openly and picked up by whoever has an afternoon free. Who may claim from the board is Czerka's call, not ours.

No application, no interview, no commitment in either direction. Claim a job, do the work, take the credits, paid when the work lands.

Claiming happens on the missions board in Czerka's Discord. The server is open to anyone, so come in and ask, or message Xpofer Tomas and he will say what is on it.

It is also a fair way to find out whether the work suits you. People who take a few jobs and do them well are worth talking to about a crew seat on the asteroid side.

WHAT THE WORK ACTUALLY IS

City construction on prepared ground: laying facilities to a build order, moving supplied materials into place, and reporting the tile complete. It is methodical rather than glamorous, it teaches the mechanics properly, and it is the same skill the asteroid cities need — which makes it a good place to learn.
